Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
You can’t improve what you are not measuring. CRO is all about taking an existing piece of content or offer that is working and figuring out how to make it better.
If you can't read the scoreboard, you don't know the score. If you don't know the score, you can't tell the winners from the losers.

google analytics data is key
Implementing Google Analytics correctly goes a long way toward helping you make sound, data-based decisions.
First Step: Google Analytics
It’s a must to have Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Search Console set up for your website and operating properly. Your site analytics need to provide you with clear information that will allow you to make sound business decisions.
Once proper tracking is in place, dashboards will be set up so we can accurately see and understand how we are doing and what needs to be improved.
Analyzing the Data
Analytics are measurements that show in real numbers what’s going on with your visitors and conversions. They show whether you are winning or losing, what’s working and what isn’t, and can also show us why. Your analytics help us to check out aspects like traffic sources, behavior statistics, acquisition reports, conversion levels, and goal achievements.
Decisions based on hard data will yield better results, every time.
What should you be tracking?
A vast majority of business owners are either not tracking key metrics, or completely unsure of what they should be tracking. The first step in knowing what to track is to understand your sales process and your goals.
Goal: More inbound phone calls
Key Metrics that should be tracked: How many inbound calls are we getting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis? How many appointments resulted from those calls? How many appointments were quality leads? How many ended up purchasing your service? Once we understand our metrics, we can calculate how much we invested to acquire a customer.
Understanding trends
Nobody likes wasting money! After establishing our key metrics and installing the proper systems to track our progress, we can now start analyzing the data over specific time periods to optimize our advertising dollars.
Did business slow down over a certain period of time? Are we not retaining as many clients as we normally do? We can understand why and pivot quickly based on accurate data.
The Importance of Social Proof
Business owners come to us all the time to run their marketing campaigns. One of the first things we look at is their online reviews across all platforms because of the big role it plays in consumer psychology.
We could drive all the traffic in the world to a company BUT if you’re competing with another company down the street who has 74 five-star reviews and you have an average of 3.9 stars out of only 12 reviews, that’s not a recipe for success.
Value, Value, and more Value
Quality content plays a huge factor in converting clicks into customers. Let’s be honest, if you think this content isn’t giving you value, you’d hit the back button and go somewhere else!
On the other hand, if you’re reading this and agree that you need to track key metrics to maximize your success, then let’s chat.
